160415-WW-02-Posed-16-XThe Judges selected Jenny as the Winner because she is at an exciting stage in her business journey where she has already achieved and is now taking her business national.  Additionally, the Judges were really impressed by her singular vision for quality.

I was chuffed to be nominated alongside some amazing business women in the Midlands. I still can’t believe I won Entrepreneur of the Year! The awards lunch was lovely and great to catch up with so many inspirational women.  The keynote speakers were fantastic and I went away truly inspired to push on and be better.” (Jenny Hudson, Sweet As)

Jenny started Sweet As from home in 2005 with support from The Princes Trust after training in some of the country’s top establishments including Claridges and Goldman Sachs in Fleet Street.

After a fabulous first couple of years- including Gold Great Taste Awards (the Oscars of the fine food world) and the first anniversary cake for HRH The Prince of Wales, Jenny began supplying local farm shops and delis as well as creating celebration and wedding cakes for local foodies.

There are exciting times coming for Sweet As – national reach with their award winning brownies and further reach into the wholesale market along with a larger premises.”
