Sue Cressman of Nailcote Hall, was awarded the Special Achievement Award this year because of her continued fundraising activity for breast cancer equipment for local hospitals. Over the years, Sue has held the Pink Ball at Nailcote Hall twice a year, along with other events, and has raised tens of thousands of pounds to purchase Hylotherapy Machines and other equipment to aid recovery for breast cancer sufferers. Having had breast cancer twice herself, Sue knows from her own experience how valuable this equipment is.
Sue will be joining the Woman Who… team to judge this year’s Woman Who…Special Achievement Award which will be presented at the Awards Lunch on Friday 5th May at Coombe Abbey.
Sue also holds other charity events throughout the year at Nailcote including this year’s “Poppy Ball at the Hall” on Saturday 12th November, a ‘Black Tie’ Charity Event raising funds for The Royal British Legion & Salvation Army. (Please bring along a wrapped Christmas Gift for a Child for the Salvation Army Xmas Appeal). Book here.
