What’s your biggest business challenge as a woman in business right now?

We want to know about your needs as a woman in business.  Issues such as Access to Finance, Maternity rights and confidence are only a few of the topics raised in the FSB’s Women in Enterprise: The Untapped Potential Report, released earlier this year.fsb-logo-cmyk-strap-3

The Woman Who…Network, is a quarterly network, run in partnership with the FSB (Federation of Small Business) and takes place quarterly at venues throughout the FSB’s Coventry, Warwickshire & Solihull Region (@FSBWarksCov).

This network was founded by Sandra Garlick who is one of 15 small business owners from around the country appointed to the FSB’s Women in Enterprise Taskforce.  The taskforce has been set up by the FSB to champion the needs of the UK’s many women small business owners, and build on the recommendations of FSB’s Women in Enterprise report released earlier this year. The Taskforce is led by Helen Walbey, FSB Diversity Chair, (Recycle Scooters).

Our inspirational women in business speakers (Jane Cross, Rachel Wade and June Picken-pictured) are all role models.  They each shared their story about their journey into business.  There was then a discussion with our panel of speakers, an opportunity to ask questions and to share business challenges, observations and to highlight issues to be fed back to the Taskforce.
