The Leadership Whisperers were Winners of the Woman Who… StartUp Award in 2016.
On a lovely sunny Friday November morning, a few of our 2016 Winners, 2017 Sponsors, Judges and invited guests experienced Leadership with horses, first hand.
We experienced how horses can mirror our non-verbal communication and were provided with feedback on our strengths and areas to improve our leadership. We were also able to learn a simple leadership model working with the horses to identify how to lead naturally and to expand our leadership range. In addition, through this powerful learning, we discovered how teams work effectively together and what causes them to be derailed, taking this learning back to our own teams.
We would like to thank Jude Jennison and Emma Taylor of The Leadership Whisperers for an inviting us along to experience leadership with horses.
What our Winners had to say after winning their Awards:
“I was overwhelmed to win the Woman Who… Business Network Award on behalf of Kenilworth Chamber of Trade, this was a very tough category and all nominees have worked very hard to promote their business networks. I am lucky to have a strong and active committee alongside me and we are delighted to receive the recognition.” (Seanna Holland, Packsmart Limited & Chair of the Kenilworth Chamber of Trade -Winner of the Woman Who…Business Network Award)
“As a women in STEM I was thrilled to be nominated and I feel incredibly proud to have been selected as the winner of the Women Who…Inspires category. Games have inspired me throughout my life and through the use of game thinking and game design it is my hope that I can make the world a more playful place and reignite passion for learning.” (Helen Routledge, Totem Learning-Winner of the Woman Who…Inspires Award)
“We were really excited to hear we won the Startup category of the Woman Who… awards and received the news in the midst of running a deep and powerful workshop for 10 people. We never expected to win an award in our first year of business and we are delighted to have won this one as it recognises the courage and leadership we have shown in launching and leading a pioneering global business. Every day we take risks, make mistakes, recover and recalibrate and it’s wonderful to see this coming to fruition and being recognised. A huge thank you to our extended team who support and inspire us behind the scenes and continue to enable us to grow a sustainable high growth business.” (Jude Jennison & Emma Taylor, The Leadership Whisperers-Winner of the Woman Who…StartUp Award)
