Debbie Harper, HSBC Banking is speaking at the Woman Who… Network on #IWD2017

Debbie Harper is the Area Director for HSBC Business Banking in Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire.

debbie-harper-hsbcDebbie joined HSBC 13 years ago after completing a degree in Economics, Politics and German at Loughborough University. Since joining HSBC, Debbie has completed a second degree in Banking and Finance and has worked with SME and MME businesses in the Midlands to support them in achieving their hopes, dreams and ambitions. Debbie worked in Warwickshire for 2 years, leading a team of 9 Relationship Managers and their support team before being approached to lead a larger Greater Birmingham team including Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire and the team of 15 Relationship Managers and their support teams.

Debbie is passionate about SME business, linking clients together for mutual benefit and promoting Birmingham and Warwickshire as a great place to do business. A keen mentor, Debbie enjoys working with ambitious young people, particularly young women, to encourage career development and the progression of young women into leadership.

Outside of the workplace, Debbie is married to Dr Lee Harper and is mum to 5 year old Oscar, who loves to help her with her passion for baking – by being chief tester of the finished goods!
