Today we are featuring the Finalists in the Woman Who Achieves for a Social Enterprise/CIC Category sponsored by Alsters Kelley Solicitors.
Congratulations Nishi Mehta & Sally Dhillon, Career-Mums CIC, Finalist in the Woman Who Achieves for a Charity Category Sponsored by Alsters Kelley Solicitors
Career-Mums was set up 3 years ago to help parents to return to work following a career break – whether a short maternity leave or longer career break.
Offering support through 1:1 coaching, workshops, on-line resources and a helpful community of returners. The main focus is to help returners regain confidence, reconnect with their work identity, get job-ready and find work that works for them, whether this is via employment, retraining or starting their own business.
Career-Mums became a CIC in September 2018 as a way of reaching out to the wider community, including those that are not able to self-fund.
Catherine Wahlberg, Operations and Finance Member at Alsters Kelley said:
We are delighted to be sponsoring and being part of the Woman Who Achieves Awards for a third year. The Awards last year were brilliant and the standard of entries was incredible, an indication of what a strong and vibrant region we work in.
We are particularly thrilled to be sponsoring two Awards this year; Woman Who Achieves for Charity and Woman Who Achieves for a Social Enterprise. As a local business we try and support a range of local charities and all the people we come across who work for these organisations are all incredible and deserve so much recognition”
Congratulations Nishi & Sally, we look forward to seeing you at the Awards Lunch. You can see all the Finalists here
