Congratulations to Elise Sullivan of Beau Boo Beauty, Winner of the Woman Who Achieves Start Up Award 2019 Sponsored by FSB (Federation of Small Businesses)
Elise Sullivan of Beau Boo Beauty
Beauty salon based in evesham, Worcestershire.
Triggered by a breakdown after losing my mother I decided to retrain at 27 as a beautician. I completed 13 individual courses in 6 months.
I opened the salon which now has huge clientele and I am also a young ambassador for the Prince’s Trust, that supported me when I opened the salon. I like to try and help others in business with the Trust and tell my story of how far I have come.
Anything is possible.
What the judges said: The judges loved the fact that the winner had taken personal risk for what she believes in. They loved her humility and the fact that she recognised the support she had received in her own business journey and how she now gives back, through mentoring.
Congratulations to all the Woman Who Achieves Start Up Category Finalists

Linsey Luke, Deputy Head of Field Staff, Federation of Small Businesses said:
“FSB are really proud to be a part of the Woman Who network, particularly as these awards encourage and support so many woman and men, to recognise their achievements and shout about them. As a grassroots organisation FSB exists to champion the diverse and inclusive small businesses who bring massive benefits to our UK economy, it has therefore been wonderful this year to see how the awards has grown both in number of entries and the reach across the Midlands and beyond.
FSB want to help drive a cultural change towards diversity in business and see more women starting and growing their own businesses. The Woman Who Awards, and Network really empower women in doing this, which is exactly why FSB are already looking forward to working with them again for 2020.”
Woman Who is delivered in partnership with the FSB (Federation of Small Businesses) East & West Midlands Regions.
