Today we are featuring the Finalists in the Woman Who Achieves Scale Up Award 2019 sponsored by Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank.

Congratulations Julianne Ponan of Creative Nature, Finalist in the Woman Who Achieves Scale Up Category Sponsored by Clydesdale & Yorkshire Bank. You can see all the Finalists here

Congratulations Julianne, we look forward to seeing you at the Awards Lunch on 7th June.

I’m a young female entrepreneur that hasn’t let illness, severe allergies or peer bullying stop me from achieving my goals and building my company.

At 29, I can already tick two business dreams off my list; Opening the London Stock Exchange, and featuring on the Forbes Under 30 List. I’ve turned my anaphylaxis into a thriving business that helps other allergy sufferers eat safely and lets those without allergies enjoy healthier, tastier snacks and baked treats.

I’m also a motivational speaker, business mentor and comment on business and allergy related issues on Sky News, BBC and the national press.

I’m thrilled and humbled that Creative Nature has been chosen to receive this award. We are an ambitious and ethical business with a mission not only to become the leading free-from snack brand in the UK but also to campaign around awareness of food allergy and its dangers.” Julianne Ponan

What the judges said: Using her personal experience to create a product range which has driven a fast-growing business, achieving sales in most major supermarkets and food retailers.

Congratulations to all the Finalists in the Woman Who Achieves Scale Up Category

CYBG are delighted to be associated with these fantastic awards which really showcases the immense talent we have in the region.” (Paul Reeves)

For over 175 years we’ve stayed close to home, supporting the communities we’re part of and never forgetting what people really need from a bank. Being closer to our customers is at the heart of everything we do, because to care about here means always understanding how to better serve the people who live here.
We’re a bank that’s big enough to provide competitive products, but small enough to offer a more personal touch.
