After nearly 30 years in newspaper journalism, I founded Caittom Publishing in 2010. I help businesses, individuals and organisations to achieve their goals through the stories they tell on their websites, blogs and social media channels. I ‘ghostwrite’ articles and content and provide editing and rewriting services, advice and consultancy.
Networking has played a massive part in my business and personal journey. I lead networking events as a volunteer and I’m a grassroots activist for the FSB and a Small Business Saturday UK champion. Networking built my business and I’m keen that everyone realises its power.
“Attending the Woman Who Awards lunch has been the highlight of my year! It was such an inclusive celebration of achievements and everyone who attended was made to feel special thanks to the thoughtful organisation and attention to detail.
Being shortlisted as a finalist was a massive honour and that was where I was sure my journey would end. Looking at the achievements of my fellow finalists in the networking category it was a thrill to be listed alongside them.
When my name was called out as the winner, I was shocked and elated. To receive that level of validation from the judges was such a special moment.
I am looking forward to continuing to attend, support and promote Woman Who events in the coming years to my networking connections.
Sandra Garlick has created something unique, positive and joyful in Woman Who.“ Elaine Pritchard
What the judges said: The winner has truly embodied the essence of networking creating numerous opportunities for all.
Congratulations to all the Finalists in the Woman Who Achieves through Networking Category

Sue Tonks, Founder of multi Award winning HydroVeg Kits, said:
“Woman Who was the first Networking organisation I visited when we moved to Warwickshire, the impact of the talks given by local inspirational business women gave me the confidence to move my embryonic business forward. It’s with honour that I can put back into the group the support and confidence it gave me, by becoming a Sponsor for the Woman Who Awards 2019.” Sue Tonks
Sue Tonks has worked in the training and development industry for 30 years, then with her own company Synergy. In 2006 Sue started building a new financial future for her family which had led to her currently having 7 streams of income. Sue is an International Trainer and Speaker on Networking and works with major MBA universities, International Legal and Accountancy firms, and Associations.
In 2017 Sue invented and manufactures HydroVeg Kits which helps people and schools to grow veg 360 days a year, outside with no soil, digging, weeding slugs and snails and using 80% less water than normal gardens. It is an award winning business she is taking to the developing world.
