Congratulations Dr Asha Patel, Innovating Minds CIC, Winner of the Woman Who Achieves for a CIC Award 2019 Sponsored by Alsters Kelley Solicitors

Congratulations Dr Asha Patel, Innovating Minds CIC Winner of the Woman Who Achieves for a Social Enterprise/CIC Category sponsored by Alsters Kelley Solicitors.

Dr Asha Patel is the CEO & founder of Innovating Minds CIC. It is Asha’s enthusiasm, drive, and passion to bring hope to other people’s lives that has helped Innovating Minds come to life. Innovating Minds is a social enterprise that cares about helping individuals with their emotional and mental health throughout education, training and employment. We are a team of Clinical Psychologists working from an early intervention model, delivering specialist accessible psychological support within education and the community.

With our profits we provide group support for primary and secondary aged children that have witnessed or experienced domestic abuse.

I am touched to have received the award as I have been on a personal journey to develop my self-confidence and grow Innovating Minds in the past 12 months. So, for the judges to have noticed how my confidence has developed and how my entrepreneurial skills have enabled us to grow without comprising impact is just amazing. This one is for the team!

What the judges said: The judges were blown away with how she’s grown in the last 12 months both in confidence and clarity, without compromising on her core values. She’s very entrepreneurial!

We are delighted to be sponsoring and being part of the Woman Who Achieves Awards for a third year. The Awards last year were brilliant and the standard of entries was incredible, an indication of what a strong and vibrant region we work in.

We are particularly thrilled to be sponsoring two Awards this year; Woman Who Achieves for Charity and Woman Who Achieves for a Social Enterprise. As a local business we try and support a range of local charities and all the people we come across who work for these organisations are all incredible and deserve so much recognition.

We really enjoyed this year’s Lunch Awards.  As sponsors we take great pride in our contribution to supporting women in business, helping to build confidence and having an effective voice.  The Awards were a real celebration of their achievements.  It was great to meet so many inspirational women and those who support them.
