Woman Who was honoured to be able to play a small part in Nim Rainu’s legacy.
Sadly, Nim passed away in September 2018 but her legacy continues and she was recognised for her work in bringing Asian women in business together through Bindis in Business, a network she created and loved.
Perm Bassi of Unique Therapies sponsored the Special Woman Who Award for Women Supporting Women in Business and presented it to Nim’s husband Raj and daughter Naveen on stage, to a standing ovation.
Nim Rainu of Bindis in Business was a Finalist in the Woman Who Achieves Change Champion for Women in Business Category in 2017 and here is what she said about Bindis in Business.
Bindis in Business is a structured networking group for like-minded Asian business women. The aim is to use each other as skilful resources rather than competitors.
It teaches Asian business women to learn to be diverse within the business community and to network without cultural boundaries. It creates a support network for each other to promote healthy business relationships, collaborations and a network of connections between women in business.
