Congratulations to Stephanie Haynes, HORIBA MIRA, Winner of a Woman Who Achieves Rising Star in Further Education or Training Award 2019 specifically for her achievements during her Apprenticeship working in Cyber Security, Sponsored by Coventry University

My name’s Steph Haynes and I’m a cyber security apprentice at HORIBA MIRA, specialising in automotive cyber security. I’ve been studying with QA for the last two years, covering topics like cryptography and ethical hacking. It’s been really interesting learning about these concepts and seeing how they work within a vehicle.

Outside work, I love riding motorbikes and going to the gym. Whenever I can, I travel to New Zealand where my family lives. I’m the first woman in the UK to successfully complete the Level 4 Cyber Security Technologist apprenticeship, and not only that, but I passed with distinction!

Congratulations Steph!

It is amazing to see the achievements of our Rising Stars of the future who are currently studying at School, College or University or starting careers on a recognised Training Programme or Apprenticeship. Congratulations to you all.
