Who is your role model and why?
My Son Tom Lidgard is my role model. He always has been. As a child I watched him pick up skills and talents with such grace and amazing speed. The passion of a young footballer trying to master Messi’s latest move. As adults we tend to claim to have no choice in our daily negotiations and yet discussing a problem with him as a boy, his ability to think outside the box focusing on simple creative solutions to big problems I faced. His energy as a man adds colour to my world particularly when my energy levels are low.
What’s the worst job you have ever had?
I’ve literally loved every job I’ve had! I have learnt so much form every role.
What’s the best business advice you have ever received?
Someone once told me business ideas alone are worth very little. If you want to start a business and be successful at it, you need to solve meaningful problems. Execution is everything in business.
What is your proudest achievement in business?
Winning my very first commendation award which is a huge pat on the back to let me know I’m doing ok! – I should add the commendation award was the Women Who Award!!

Which personality or business person would you invite to sit on your dream Board of Directors and why?
Andrew Carnegie, Scottish Immigrant who went to the US penniless and died the wealthiest man in the US after founding US Steel. He understood people, how they think, and the difference between those who fail and those who succeed. He had incredible work ethic, vision and drive.
If you were a cartoon character, who would you be?
Mighty Mouse – He’ll swallow your bullets and spit them out right back at you! He’s like a rodent
Chuck Norris – which makes me laugh!

I have a 2:1 (Hons) Law Degree
