Who is your role model and why?
Anne of Green Gables – always ready to learn, honest, hardworking and optimistic!
What’s the worst job you have ever had?
Working in a buying office for a fashion company – really and truly not as glamorous as you’d think!
What’s the best business advice you have ever received?
Own your mistakes and learn from them – always be prepared to ask questions!
What is your proudest achievement in business?
My customer recommendations – they mean everything to me! Building my own business from scratch, as I had never done this before, customer satisfaction underpins everything that I do. I created my business brand logo to reflect this, after spending a lot time building my personal brand.

Which personality or business person would you invite to sit on your dream Board of Directors and why?
Margaret Miles-Bramwell: she founded her company in 1969 from scratch in a Scout hut, with a £200 loan. Slimming World is now worth £15.5 million and celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. I can only hope to emulate her drive and vision.
If you were a cartoon character, who would you be?
Danger Mouse! He’s astounding.
Tell us an amazing fact about you, that not many people know?
I’m a classically trained musician in both the harp and piano.
