The Woman Who Achieves Awards 2020 are launched

The Woman Who Achieves Awards 2020 launched this morning at the FSB Business Bootcamp.

Sandra Garlick, Founder of Woman Who, launched the 2020 Awards and told attendees at Coombe Abbey how to enter.

“Each year entry is online and the number of entries grows. However, although the Awards always open for entry in November, the bulk of those entries are submitted in the final 2 weeks, with a high proportion submitted in the last 48 hours!

No matter how much support and encouragement, entries are frequently left until the last minute. This results in three things:

  • A rushed entry submitted in panic as the deadline looms
  • Typos and grammatical errors
  • Lack of planning and thought

Sadly, our judges can only shortlist what has been submitted, despite the fact that they may have outside knowledge about you and your business.

This year I want to make the process easier.

From today until 31st December is all about Planning Your Entry. So all you need to do is register your interest and we will email your Awards Information Pack with all the information you need to plan your entry. It includes information about the Awards process, the questions you need to answer and all you need to know about the interviews, our judges and the Awards Lunch.

You will then have until Sunday 23rd February to submit your entry through the online portal.

As usual, we have Award Categories for women in business (both self employed and employed) and for our young Rising Stars who are in full time education or training.

We also have some new faces on our judging panels. All will be revealed shortly.

So for now, register your interest HERE and we will send you the Awards Information Pack and I look forward to helping you to power up your personal brand in 2020.”
