Who inspires you and why? I believe inspiration is also around us and we have to keep an open mind and be willing to learn. On a daily basis, I’m inspired by my 3 year old nephew who constantly thinks outside the box, however, I am equally inspired by entrepreneurs who have really ‘been there, done that and bought the t-shirt!’.
What was your first job? At the age of 12, I had a stall at the local picnic in the park, doing Henna temporary tattoos for 50p. I was re-booked again for 3years.
What’s your top business tip? Be yourself, believe in yourself and go with your gut feeling!
What’s your favourite business book or podcast? I’ve nearly finished reading Shoe Dog by Phil Knight and I’ve got to say I’ll definitely be recommending it!
What’s your favourite quote? “No one is you and that is your superpower”
and just for fun…
Who would at the top of your guest list for dinner and why? Alex Ferguson – I’m a Man Utd fan, he’s a fantastic leader and he’d have so many stories!
What’s your favourite film? Pretty Woman.
Tell us about an embarrassing moment (one you can laugh about now). So many to choose from! It would have to be the time I did a presentation in my A level Biology class and said ‘orgasm’ instead of ‘organism’.
