Congratulations to all the Woman Who Achieves Awards Finalists 2020.

With less than a week to go, the postponed Awards event will go ahead online at 12 noon-2.30pm on Friday 2nd October.

The afternoon will commence with networking and an introduction from Woman Who Founder, Sandra Garlick MBE.

You will hear from two amazing inspirational women in business keynote speakers, Julie Colan, Founder of Secret Whispers and Julie Lilley, CEO of the Federation of Small Businesses.

Throughout the afternoon we will be announcing the Award Winners with lots of interviews and interaction along the way.

“I am honoured to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the networking category.

I am delighted to be connected with many inspirational people across the world who have become professional contacts and friends. It is through networking that I created my Amazon best selling book ‘What They Didn’t Teach Me on My PGCE’ – a collection of over 200 narratives written by teachers for teachers.

I look forward to making many more connections through the Woman Who network.”

Special Award:

Judges Recognition Award Sponsored by Real Point Design

“It was a real pleasure attending the IWD celebration event and hearing some really heart wrenching and inspiring stories from the speakers.

I was hopeful to be shortlisted for the  Phoenix award but also doubtful, especially when I realised the amazing company I was in! When Sandra announced my name on the shortlist my heart skipped a beat and I welled up. Such a wonderful surprise!

I left the event as if walking on air and I am truly looking forward to the awards lunch. I have no expectations of winning but to make it to this stage and to rub shoulders with such amazing women is an absolute privilege and honour!”
