This week we’re celebrating the Woman Who Achieves Award Winners.

Congratulations Heidi Fisher MBE, founder of Make an Impact CIC, the Winner of the Woman Who Achieves for a Social Enterprise Award, sponsored by Alsters Kelley Solicitors, who also judged this category.

The Woman Who Achieves Awards took place on Friday 2nd October. As we weren’t able to hold a face to face event this year, we took the Awards online.

Thank you to all the Winners and Finalists for your support and making this event into an amazing interactive online Awards event.

Heidi is a multi-award winning specialist in social enterprise and social impact. She received an MBE for Services to Innovation in Social Enterprise and to Impact Measurement in the 2020 New Year Honours.

Heidi has worked with over 2,100 social enterprises, from start-ups to those with over £1billion of income, supporting them to become more sustainable, develop their trading income and to better measure, manage and report their impact. Her vision is a world where all businesses are social enterprises that positively impact people and the planet. Heidi is passionate about leaving a positive legacy for her children and society.

What the Judges said:

An excellent nomination clearly demonstrating Heidi’s passion for her work with social enterprises – having been a Social Enterprise Advocate for 20 years and helping over 2,100 social enterprises. She has a clear vision, very focussed and so motivated to continue to expand her work not only in the UK, but around the world.”

“I feel really honoured to have won the award for the Woman Who Achieves for a Social Enterprise. It provides important external recognition of the hard work and journey I have been through, which has only been possible with the support of many other amazing women.”
