This week we’re looking back to October and celebrating the Woman Who Achieves Award Winners.
Congratulations Sally Wilson of Caterpillar Cross Stitch Winner of the Woman Who Achieves for through Networking Award, sponsored by XL Motors.
The Woman Who Achieves Awards took place on Friday 2nd October. As we weren’t able to hold a face to face event this year, we took the Awards online.
Congratulations and thank you to all the Winners and Finalists for your support and making this event into an amazing interactive online Awards event.
I’m Sally Wilson, the founder of Caterpillar Cross Stitch, a modern cross stitch brand launched in 2015. I am a former solicitor and mother of 2 living in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.
I design and manufacture cross stitch kits and accessories that are sold globally via our ecommerce store and select retailers.
I won Stitch Designer of the Year at the British Craft Awards 2019 and have had my work featured in Cross Stitch Crazy, Cross Stitch Gold, Cross Stitcher and the World of Cross Stitching magazines.
What the Judges said:
“Looking for a new direction in life, Sally has entered a competitive but growing market and created not just a fun product range but crucially, an innovative membership model which is ‘sticky’ to allow future business growth not just in the UK, but internationally”
““I am absolutely thrilled to have been selected as a finalist in this category. My work brings me so much joy, spreading the love of cross stitch to people all over the world. Thank you for shortlisting me and I’m honoured to be in such great company within my category. It’s been a wonderful experience so far!””
