This week we’re looking back to October and celebrating the Woman Who Achieves Award Winners.

Congratulations Catherine Sin of HSBC, Winner of the Woman Who Achieves as an Outstanding Team Member Award 2020, Sponsored by Auditel.

The Woman Who Achieves Awards took place on Friday 2nd October. As we weren’t able to hold a face to face event this year, we took the Awards online.

Congratulations and thank you to all the Winners and Finalists for your support and making this event into an amazing interactive online Awards event.

Catherine Sin is an enthusiastic, award-winning sales and marketing leader with international experience and proven success in developing customer-focused strategies, forging solid human connections and driving growth.

In her current role as Senior Marketing Strategy Manager at HSBC, she leads and drives global strategic projects for HSBC Commercial Banking and Global Banking & Markets businesses. Originally from Hong Kong, Catherine is a passionate travel guru and has a keen interest to take up new challenges. Her favourite hobbies include Argentine Tango, Skiing, drumming for Dragon Boats and playing the Trombone. She speaks Cantonese, English, Mandarin, and a bit of German.

What the Judges said:

Catherine defines everything an outstanding team member should be. Ambition, tenacity and hard work have all played a key part in this international journey where the challenges of cultural and gender obstacles could have deterred others. A super role model to others this woman will only inspire others as she carves a path for other women to follow.”

I am extremely excited, honoured and grateful beyond words to be receiving the “Woman Who Achieves – Outstanding Team Member” Award.

It was a most pleasant surprise, and I’m pleased to have achieved success not through seeking power, but through lifting other people up.

I would like to thank the judges for their recognition and belief in my potential. Such a privilege to be acknowledged alongside an esteemed group of business women.
