This week we’re celebrating the Woman Who Achieves Award Winners.

Congratulations Jigna Varu of Micro-Fresh Winner of the Woman Who Achieves Internationally (Import & Export) Award.

The Woman Who Achieves Awards took place on Friday 2nd October. As we weren’t able to hold a face to face event this year, we took the Awards online.

Congratulations and thank you to all the Winners and Finalists for your support and making this event into an amazing interactive online Awards event.

Micro-Fresh was originally developed in 2006 to prevent the growth of mould on products in transit from the far corners of the world.

Today, the brand is used as an ‘added value’ by over
50 retailers. Micro-Fresh is an innovative ingredient and globally leading brand for freshness.

Its headquarters are based in the UK, with nine international offices around the world including China, India, Portugal, Vietnam, Singapore and the USA.

Jigna Varu, CCO, drives all commercial aspects of the business on a global level, including these international offices.

What the Judges said:

Combining scientific expertise with commercial development, Jigna has driven Micro-Fresh into new markets and grown existing ones. Her personal development has shown clear growth while she has also sought to make Micro-Fresh a sustainable business.
