Congratulations Claire Russell of Mental Health in Business on your Commendation in the Woman Who Achieves Phoenix Award Category, a new category for 2020.
The Woman Who Achieves Awards took place on Friday 2nd October. As we weren’t able to hold a face to face event this year, we took the Awards online.

I am CEO of Mental Health in Business (MHIB), a mental health advocate, prolific public speaker and committed volunteer with Samaritans. I have been running businesses in financial services for over 20 years and founded MHIB in 2018 after my own experiences of mental illness and bereavement to suicide.
I am determined to use my experiences and skills to help as many people as possible by being a part of a global shift in workplace mental health. Since MHIB was established we have partnered with some major organisations across the UK whom we are helping to create mentally healthy workplaces.

“This entry is highly commended. After suffering setbacks following health issues in her teens, Claire built a successful career. However, after suffering personal loss, she set out to volunteer whilst building her own mental health business.”
