From humble beginnings back in January 2016, Woman Who has evolved to become a global community for women in business. The Woman Who Inspires Network launched later that year in partnership with the FSB (Federation of Small Businesses).

My mission has always been to inspire women in business to recognise their achievements, celebrate them and become role models to inspire others. I can safely say that the ladies in the Woman Who network have done precisely that.

Finding ways to celebrate and share the amazing personal and professional stories from each of these ladies led to our first publication of I Am a Woman Who. Although it was meant to be a one-off project, the powerful messages shared within the creamy pages of that first book showed us the impact such a publication could have. It quickly became an annual project.

I’m now thrilled to announce the launch of our fourth book.

I Am a Woman Who Book Launch – 8th March

The I Am a Woman Who series captures the stories of inspirational women in business role models.

These women inspire others by sharing their business journey, including the challenges they faced, how they overcame them, top tips, favourite quote, and their key message.

“…it’s so important that more women’s voices and women’s stories are written and published. Women don’t lack confidence in their own abilities and skills, but they often lack confidence in putting themselves forward and letting others see their qualities and their attributes. The more women can be encouraged to tell their stories and share their experience and expertise, the more credibility and equivalence individual women, and women in general will gain.” Foreword by Lucy McCarraher, Founder of Rethink Press and The Business Book Awards.

Join me on Monday 8th March (9.30am – 11.00am) for our Online Network to celebrate International Women’s Day, and the launch of I Am a Woman Who (2021 edition).

Tickets available for the networking event can also include a copy of the book. BUY yours today HERE.

Meet our Contributors

We have thirty-one incredible women in this edition, all with a powerful story to share. From transformational coaches, photographers, and social media managers, to web designers and will writers.

Here’s a small taster of what you can expect in this year’s edition:

“Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Use bricks others may throw at you to build your foundation. If you have a dream, make it a reality. Reach out, stay determined. If you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl. Be prepared to be a chameleon but always, always keep your eye on your goal.” Maria Hanson MBE, me&dee charity.

“We all have the same 24 hours in a day. What we do with that time is different for each of us. Priorities differ as life changes; health, fun and happiness, family and friends need to be balanced with hard work and focus. Making progress in our business can often be at the detriment to all other aspects in our lives. Our challenge is to find the right balance, giving us the best return on our most expensive investment – time!” Sue Tonks, Inventor – Hydroveg Ltd

Your personal brand is what people say about you when you’re not in the room or, more particularly, what you would like them to say about you. You want to be at the forefront of people’s minds when they need your product or service. I encourage the ladies in the Woman Who network to come out from behind their logo and be visible.

The I Am a Woman Who book is packed with stories from the women in business I know, like and trust – something I regularly teach in my mentoring.

This book highlights the power of stepping out of your comfort zone and sharing your story.

“Whatever life’s challenges focus on what you can control, rather than what you can’t. Pick yourself up, dust yourself down, put lipstick on if it helps; put one foot in front of the other and take baby steps, however small they need to be, you will still be moving forward. Think about how far you’ve already come and recognise the things you’ve already achieved. Think about what brings you joy and make that and yourself a priority because you’re worth it. Get your best outfit out of the wardrobe and be in your power. Dress up to rise up.” Lisa Newport, Style Coach.

“We live in a time where being a woman in business is celebrated and supported, and our daughters can grow up to be anything and anyone. I am thrilled to be part of the Woman Who in 2021 and to move into this year with support and encouragement from the whole Woman Who community.” Anna Rump, Social Media Consultant

Help me celebrate by joining me on Monday 8th March.

“Looking back at my original story in I Am a Woman Who (2020 Edition), I now realise that whenever one door closed in my life, another opportunity certainly opened, with potential for something even greater! I’m still very much living my life in colour, but now 2021 presents an extra-special way to celebrate 30 years of Colour & Style.” Sue Burton, Award-Winning Stylist & Image Consultant.
