Woman Who is not about one day in the calendar year and our celebration of the Awards on 1st October at the beautiful Coombe Abbey Hotel in Warwickshire continues.
Congratulations Michelle Leivars of Breedon Perfumery, Winner of a Woman Who Achieves Retail & Products Award 2021 Sponsored by Alsters Kelley Solicitors.
The Woman Who Achieves & Solopreneur Awards took place on Friday 1st October. This year we held a hybrid event with many joining us in the Marquee at Coombe Abbey and those that couldn’t, joining online.
Congratulations Michelle on your achievements and thank you to all the Winners and Finalists for your support and making this event into an amazing hybrid Awards event.
Michelle has since joined the Woman Who Achieves Academy and will continue her journey with Woman Who over the coming months, so watch out for more from Michelle.
To be in a room with so many incredible women at the Woman Who Achieves Awards was such a gift. Hearing their incredible stories was moving and so inspirational, and the sense of community and pride in the room was unbelievable. When my name was announced I couldn’t believe it! And then to hear the judges comments was just the icing on the cake.
Thankyou Woman Who for an incredible experience, an absolutely fantastic day and for the support you have shown me, from the bottom of my heart I am so grateful. (Michelle Leivars pictured with Erica Kemp, Director of Alsters Kelley Solicitors)
Breedon Perfumery is a bath, bodycare & home fragrance brand based in the Cotswolds. I have a passion for self care deep rooted into my brand is the desire to make everyone feel incredible. The brand was started following a series of traumatic events for my family. We were reliant on foodbanks to survive and being lucky enough to receive a sample sized body lotion, that small act of self care lifted my spirits and made me feel human again. I vowed from that moment that I wanted to bring that feeling to everyone, all the time and Breedon Perfumery was born!
JUDGES’ COMMENTS
Michelle Leivars is a clear winner in this category having overcome significant adversity. Michelle has taken a challenging experience, leaped out of her comfort zone and with great vision and tenacity has developed a innovative business that is not only breaking boundaries in this industry but also supporting the needs of others. Michelle has a clear goal plan and looking at the way she has seized opportunities in the last few years we don’t doubt that she will achieve them! We hope this award gives her the same belief in herself that she clearly has in her business.
Congratulations to all the Finalists in this Category
Yippee! I’m a Woman Who Achieves Finalist in the Solopreneur Retail & Product category. Just entering was a valuable exercise in focussing on my business achievements, challenges and goals.
I am so looking forward to the Awards event at Coombe Abbey and celebrating with my fellow Academy members and fellow finalists.
I cannot believe I have been selected as a finalist for the Woman Who Achieves Awards! To say I am chuffed to bits is an understatement! What a time to start a business, it’s been tricky but also fun and has allowed me to work around my boys whilst helping others find the right reusable nappies and/or baby carrier slings. I have learned so much over the past 18 months and am looking forward to the next 18 months – hopefully as a winner! Thanks to everyone involved and particularly to the judges for seeing the potential in my business
Wow! I’m absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Woman Who awards 2021. I founded Bloomin’ Sexy to give women the choice to wear comfortable underwear that they actually feels good to be wearing.
To have that recognised makes all the hard work feel justified. Thank you!
