Tell us a little about you, and what you do?
I’m Esther Roche the founder of DeRoiste Natural Beauty, a skincare brand that offers inclusive, natural, plant-based products that are toxin-free. My passion is to help users fall in love and embrace the skin they’re in without compromising their skin health.
As a mum of five children all with eczema, I wanted products that would be suitable even for the most sensitive of skins.
What has been your stand-out moment of 2021?
The last twenty months have not been easy for a lot of people and businesses. Not only was I able to launch a new business in the middle of the pandemic, but I also had to home school my children, and navigate the changes brought about by Brexit.
The icing on the cake was receiving a brand new “One to Watch” accolade created by the Judges at the Woman Who Achieves and Solopreneur Awards 2021 to encourage me to have braver aspirations, and I certainly have leveraged on this. It’s just what I needed to dream bigger, believe, and persevere on my business journey.
What or who would you like to see under your Christmas Tree this year?
After a few freezing Christmas market showcases definitely fluffy thermal socks and comfy boots to get me through these outdoor events.

What are you looking forward to most in 2022?
I’m so excited to be showcasing in John Lewis next year and continuing to work on my client base. I’ll definitely continue to dream bigger and enter awards as part of my marketing strategy.
