Hi I am Lisa, live in leafy Bournville, love a spa treatment, oh and am slightly obsessed with all things stationery and craft.

What has been your stand out moment of 2021?
Like many other small businesses, I saw mine fall off a cliff when the world stopped last year. I had two options, do something else or rebuild and I chose the second.
Previously, I had been fortunate gaining customers who knew me already or through recommendation. So, I set about building an online profile from scratch, to rebuild my own business but also to prove you can build an engaged community without feeling overwhelmed. My stand out moment is proving the theory, reinforced by the most amazing owners approaching to work with me and having helped 100 local small businesses so far. I wake up happy and get to do what I love to do every day!!
What or who would you like to see under your Christmas Tree this year?
To find all the things I have put away into a ‘safe place’ over the years but can then never remember where the safe place is!!

What are you looking forward to most in 2022?
Ah easy answer, to help 1000 small businesses by the end of 2022.
Because setting a big goal is a great incentive to develop actions to achieve it and I work best to deadlines!! I became an accidental entrepreneur, never planning or dreaming of owning my own business. Then I discovered this fantastic world of fabulous people who are passionate about what they do, have fantastic products and services and total commitment to great customer service. But most are best-kept secrets so how fantastic to be able to make a real difference in helping them grow their business. It is such a pleasure to see how happy they are when they see what they can achieve through simple marketing actions.
