Just a little note to say thanks for such a slick and smooth process.
I’ve been entering awards since 2022 and never before have I experienced such an organised, well structured and genuinely thoughtful approach. From clearly setting out what to expect, to offering valuable insights into how to prepare for the interviews right through to making most of the awards day itself – and even how to leverage the whole process to support and elevate all the small businesses involved – it’s been incredible!
It’s honestly blown me away and feels like a top notch experience from start to finish and that’s all down to the time, energy and care you’ve clearly poured into it, even when you’re just out of surgery!

The Woman Who Achieves Awards and Woman Who Solopreneur Awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of women in business, founders, and solopreneurs across the UK. It also celebrates those who support women in business.
Founded by Sandra Garlick MBE, Woman Who encourages women to recognise their achievements, celebrate their successes, and inspire others by becoming visible role models. These prestigious business awards are designed to shine a spotlight on inspiring women who are building, leading, and growing successful businesses.

How to Enter the Woman Who Awards

Top Tip: Use the full word limit to bring your story to life. The more you share, the more the judges can connect with your journey.

Two Incredible Events Every Year
- The Woman Who Achieves Awards – celebrating women in business each Spring. Entries open on 1st January.

Emma works with small business owners to build awards strategies – to boost confidence and visibility, and generate business opportunities. Emma helps them to choose the best awards for their business, learn how to write award-winning entries, and maximise the awards process. She won #SBS and a Woman Who Special Award in 2024
Emma‘s help and guidance has been invaluable – I’ve won two awards, including a Woman Who Soloprenuer Award – as a result of her input!
Having a working document for future award entries has saved me hours of time and is a really valuable business asset.

The Entry Form for the Woman Who Solopreneur Awards 2025 is now closed.. The Deadline for entries is Midnight on Sunday 27th July 2025. There are no extensions.

Please note that entries must be submitted via the Online Entry Form. Any entries submitted by email, direct message, or other link will not be considered. If you have any questions, please get in touch. Entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
Upon submission, your entry will be verified and you will receive an email confirming your nomination and sending you your ‘Proud to be Nominated‘ logo which you may use anywhere you wish.

“I created these Awards to address all the bad experiences I’d had when I’d entered Awards previously. Think penguin suits, being ignored if you’re not a winner and then absolutely nothing after, not even a photo with my certificate to savour.
So I developed something new, an opportunity for women in business (and men too) to come together to network, build relationships, and collaborate, and a place where everyone who enters who is in the room is recognised and celebrated.
Everyone gets their moment on stage and that all-important photo.”
