Woman Who Achieves Awards Winners 2026

Bring Woman Who® to Your Region

Build a business. Build your profile. Build a community that creates opportunities.

Woman Who® is expanding across the UK and we’re looking for our first Founding Franchisees to bring the Woman Who® brand, community, and opportunities to their own regions.

This is an opportunity to build a successful regional business under an established brand while becoming a recognised and connected figure within your local business community.

As a Woman Who® Franchisee, you’ll create opportunities for people to connect, collaborate, learn, speak, share their stories and become more visible. You’ll build relationships with local businesses, partners and sponsors, host events and create a thriving Woman Who presence in your region.

While you’re creating opportunities for others, you’ll be creating them for yourself too.

✔️ Your region.

✔️ Your community.

✔️ Your Woman Who® business.

Backed by the Woman Who® brand.

The Woman Who Franchise Opportunity

What if you could build something of your own without starting from scratch?

Building a recognised brand, growing a community, and establishing yourself within your local business landscape takes time. Woman Who® has already spent more than a decade doing exactly that.

Now, for the first time, there is an opportunity to take the Woman Who® model into regions across the UK and build a thriving Woman Who® business of your own.

As a franchisee, you’ll become the face of Woman Who® in your region, building your own profile and becoming one of the go-to people everyone wants to know in your local business community.

You’ll bring people together through events, networking, and shared experiences. You’ll develop relationships with businesses and organisations that want to reach and support your community. You’ll create opportunities for local business owners to raise their profiles, share their stories, take to the stage and make valuable connections.

There’s also an important opportunity for you to become more visible.

You could be hosting events, speaking on stages, building partnerships, meeting influential people within your region and becoming known as someone who connects, champions, and creates opportunities for others.

You won’t be expected to work it all out alone.

You’ll have the Woman Who® brand, proven experience, resources, frameworks, training and ongoing support behind you while you build a business that reflects your region, your personality, and the community you create.

This isn’t about simply replicating an event in another part of the country.

It’s about building the Woman Who® presence in your region and making it your own.

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need previous franchise experience to become a Woman Who® Franchisee. You do need to be someone who loves bringing people together, building relationships, and creating opportunities.

This opportunity could be particularly well suited to you if you already work with, support, or sell to a women in business audience.

You may be a coach, consultant, trainer, speaker, event organiser or professional service provider. You might already run a business community or have built a strong network in your region.

Rather than competing with your existing business, a Woman Who franchise could complement and strengthen it.

It gives you another reason to connect with your audience, build new relationships, grow your regional profile and create opportunities for people to discover who you are and what you do.

At the same time, you’ll be building a separate Woman Who® business with its own opportunities for growth and income.

We’re looking for people who are:

  • Passionate about supporting and championing women in business
  • Natural relationship builders who enjoy connecting people
  • Commercially minded and able to spot opportunities
  • Comfortable becoming visible and representing Woman Who® in their region
  • Excited about events, speaking, partnerships and community building
  • Proactive, organised and prepared to take ownership of growing their franchise
  • Aligned with the values and ethos that Woman Who has built its reputation around

You don’t need to arrive with thousands of contacts or be the best-known person in your region.

You do need the ambition to become one of the people everyone wants to know.

What You’ll Build

Build the Woman Who® brand in your region and build your own profile alongside it.

Becoming a Woman Who® Franchisee isn’t about sitting behind a brand and organising things in the background.

We want you to become known.

Known as the face of Woman Who® in your region. Known as someone who brings people together. Known for creating opportunities, making connections, and championing women in business.

You’ll build a thriving regional Woman Who® community and, as that community grows, so will your own visibility, connections, and influence and ultimately your business too.

You’ll have opportunities to host events, build relationships with local businesses and organisations, develop commercial partnerships and sponsorships, connect with influential people in your region and create platforms where women in business can be seen, heard and celebrated.

You won’t be expected to already know how to do all of that.

As part of your franchise training and ongoing support, Sandra will teach you how to confidently host your own events and speak on stages, drawing on her own experience as a professional speaker, awards host, event creator, and Speaker Mentor.

You’ll learn how to step forward as the face of your regional Woman Who® business, communicate what you stand for and use speaking and events to grow both your community and your reputation.

If you already have a business that supports or serves women in business, even better. Your Woman Who® franchise gives you another platform to become known, build relationships and grow your network. And while you’re busy creating opportunities for other people, you’ll naturally be raising the profile of your own business too.

You’re not simply building a franchise.

You’re building a platform, a community, and a reputation in your region.

What’s Included

You’re building your own regional business, but you won’t be building it alone.

One of the biggest advantages of becoming a Woman Who® Franchisee is that you’re not starting with a blank page.

You’ll have an established brand, more than a decade of experience, and a proven approach to creating communities, events, partnerships and opportunities behind you.

You’ll also have direct support from Sandra as you establish yourself as the face of Woman Who® in your region and grow your franchise.

Your franchise package will include:

  • The Woman Who® brand and identity – giving you the opportunity to operate under an established and recognised brand.
  • Franchise launch training – helping you understand the Woman Who® model and giving you a clear starting point for launching in your region.
  • Event hosting training – learn how to plan, promote, and confidently host engaging Woman Who® events and experiences.
  • Speaking and visibility training – develop your confidence on stage, communicate your message and become more visible as the regional face of Woman Who®.
  • Event frameworks and resources – so you’re not reinventing everything each time you bring your community together.
  • Marketing assets and guidance – helping you promote your regional Woman Who® activity while maintaining the strength and consistency of the national brand.
  • Partnership and sponsorship guidance – learn how to identify, approach, and build relationships with organisations that want to connect with and support your community.
  • Ongoing mentoring and support – because questions, opportunities, and challenges don’t stop once you’ve launched.
  • A wider Woman Who network – connecting you with the national Woman Who® brand and, as the franchise network grows, other regional franchisees too.

You’ll have the freedom and responsibility to grow Woman Who® in a way that works for your region, while having the structure, experience and support of the wider brand behind you.

And importantly, we’ll help you develop you too.

Because the stronger your confidence, visibility, connections and reputation become, the stronger your Woman Who franchise can become.

You’ll be in business for yourself, but you won’t be doing it by yourself.

Your Region. Your Opportunity.

Build locally. Connect nationally.

Woman Who® is being developed as a carefully considered UK franchise network, with a limited number of regional franchise opportunities available.

As a Woman Who® Franchisee, you’ll focus on building the brand, community and commercial opportunities within your own agreed region. With a limited number of carefully selected regions, the model is designed to give you the space to grow your local Woman Who® community without competing with another franchisee in your region.

This gives you the opportunity to establish strong regional relationships, become known as the local face of Woman Who® and maximise the potential of the brand within your area.

But being regional doesn’t mean working in isolation.

Our vision is for Woman Who® Franchisees across the UK to collaborate, connect and support one another. You’ll be part of a growing national network where franchisees can share ideas, experiences, and opportunities and, where appropriate, create connections that extend beyond regional boundaries.

The limited regional model is designed to give you the best of both worlds: the space to build something significant in your own area, with the reach and support of a wider national brand and franchise network.

Less internal competition. More collaboration. Greater opportunity to become known in your region and connected beyond it.

Your Investment

An investment in your business, your region, and your future visibility.

Becoming a Woman Who® Franchisee is an opportunity to build your own regional business with the backing, experience, and support of an established brand.

Your investment will include a one-off franchise fee, giving you everything you need to get started with the Woman Who® franchise model, including your initial training, resources and support to help you launch and establish Woman Who® in your region.

Your Woman Who® franchise will be for a five-year term, giving you the time to establish your presence, grow your community and build a successful regional business. There’s also a break option at the three-year point, giving you additional flexibility and reassurance as you look to the future.

There will also be an ongoing monthly franchise fee covering your continued access to the Woman Who brand, resources, mentoring, development and wider franchise network.

The one-off franchise fee and monthly franchise fee are both subject to VAT.

Full details of the investment, what it covers and how the franchise works will be shared with you during the discovery process.

We want you to have the opportunity to explore the franchise, ask questions, and understand what’s involved before deciding whether becoming a Woman Who® Franchisee is right for you.

Curious about whether you’re ready to take the next step?

Take our short Franchise Readiness Assessment. There’s no commitment – it’s simply the first step in exploring whether a Woman Who® franchise could be right for you.

Become a Founding Woman Who® Franchisee

Be there at the beginning of the next chapter.

Woman Who® has spent more than a decade building a brand, a community and a reputation for connecting, celebrating and championing women in business.

Now we’re ready for the next chapter.

For the first time, we’re inviting a small number of people to become Founding Woman Who Franchisees and bring Woman Who® to their own regions across the UK.

Becoming a Founding Franchisee gives you the opportunity to establish Woman Who® in your region while the franchise network itself is still growing.

You’ll be one of the people helping to shape what the next era of Woman Who® looks like.

You’ll have direct access to Sandra as you launch and grow, the opportunity to share your experiences and ideas as the franchise network develops, and the support of other Founding Franchisees who are building their regions alongside you.

There is something powerful about being there at the beginning.

As one of our Founding Franchisees, you’ll have the opportunity to become known not only within your own region, but as part of the original group of people who helped take Woman Who® from an established national brand into a connected network of thriving regional communities.

And because only a limited number of regional franchises will be available across the UK, becoming involved at this stage also gives you greater choice when it comes to securing your preferred region.

This is an opportunity to build something commercially rewarding, create a platform that benefits your existing business and become a visible, connected and influential part of your local business community.

But above all, it’s an opportunity to be part of something bigger.

To build locally. To connect nationally. And to help shape the future of Woman Who®.

Meet Sandra Garlick MBE

The Woman Who Started It All

Woman Who® was founded by Sandra Garlick MBE with a simple belief: when women in business are given the opportunity to be seen, heard and celebrated, incredible things can happen.

Over the past decade, Sandra has grown Woman Who® into an established brand and community, creating awards, events, speaking opportunities and platforms that have connected, celebrated and championed women in business across the UK.

At the heart of Woman Who is a clear mission:

To create more local women in business role models to inspire others.

That mission is an important part of why Woman Who® is now expanding through franchising. By creating strong regional Woman Who® communities, we can uncover and celebrate more local stories, give more women opportunities to speak and be seen, and create visible role models who inspire others to believe in what is possible.

Sandra’s work has always gone beyond simply putting people in a room.

As a Business Growth Strategist, Speaker Mentor, professional speaker, awards host and event creator, she has spent years helping business owners grow their confidence, raise their profile, develop new opportunities and become known for what they do.

In 2020, Sandra was awarded an MBE for services to women in business.

Now, after more than ten years of building Woman Who®, she is taking the brand into its next chapter through franchising and bringing everything she has learned with her.

As a Woman Who® Franchisee, you won’t simply be handed a brand and left to work things out for yourself.

Sandra will work with you to develop your confidence, grow your profile and become known as the face of Woman Who® in your region. She’ll teach you how to confidently host engaging events, speak on stages and represent the Woman Who brand while developing your own voice and reputation.

She’ll also share the practical experience behind building communities, creating partnerships, attracting sponsors, running awards and events, and developing the relationships that have helped Woman Who® grow.

Because this franchise is about more than growing a brand. It’s about creating a network of confident, connected and visible regional leaders who can open doors, create opportunities and champion women in business throughout the UK.

As a Woman Who® Franchisee, you won’t simply help create more local role models. You’ll have the opportunity to become one too.

Sandra built Woman Who® by creating opportunities for women in business to become known, become role models and inspire others. Now, she wants to help you create those opportunities in your region including for yourself.
